Having issues activating your Mass Spectrometer profile?

Our expert team has helped many users to activate the profile in the hardware configuration. Troubleshooting your Mass Spectrometer is essential to figure out any issue when you cannot activate it.

Accidentally turning off the gas generator can cause a malfunction. The software won’t finish its configuration if the pressure of the curtain gas is too low. For this reason, the first thing to do is to check if the gas generator is working correctly. If the issue was the gas generator, make sure it has been turned on, and the gas pressure of curtain gas is higher than 60 psi.

Reset the instrument. To reset your instrument, push the Reset Button located at the left corner of the left side panel. Hold the button for 5 seconds and then release. Furthermore, to complete the process, reboot your computer.

After its completion, this process should allow you to configure the profile in the hardware.

Please follow the instructions below if you determine that the issue was not the gas generator.

1. Use search to find Services App. and open it.

2. Stop and Re-start the AnalystService in the “services.”

3. Select AnalystService and click “stop” the service.

4. Re-start the service

5. Open Analyst and configure hardware again

6. If it is still not working, Use Command Prompt to ping the instrument.

7. Type cmd in search and open the command prompt

8. Ping 192.168.100.2

If it is unreachable, please check the connection. If the connection is good, then check the IP address setting. If the IP address setting is correct, the ICB board in the instrument or the network card in the computer may be broken.
